Dolphin Rock is a beautifully spacious self-catering house with a 5 min drive of the Eden Project and a 10 min drive to the Lost Gardens of Heligan. The price includes sole occupancy of the house which is fully equipped for your every need whether you are a family or a couple looking for a quiet relaxing break. There is a beautiful modern kitchendiner and a separate utility room all with granite work-tops. There is a spacious lounge with 2 sofastvdvd player and also a separate dining room. Outside, Dolphin Rock offers guests their own private garden with raised decked area and BBQ. The house is furnished to a very high standard. Dolphin Rock accommodates up to 4 adults + 1 child if required. Cot also available on request at an additiional charge. There are 2 en-suite double bedrooms and a further single bedroom suitable for a child. Dolphin Rock is ideally located as it is within a 5min walk to the residents only beach or indeed is a 5min walk from the historic Charlestown harbour where you will find the Rashleigh Arms pub and restaurant and also Wreckers restaurant. Of course cream teas are also catered for in the very popular 'Charlie's' cafe which draws discerning coffee drinkers and scone eaters from all over the county! Dolphin Rock is also ideally located for those blustery Cornish coastal walks or indeed for keen golfers as it is within easy reach of Porthpean, Carlyon, St Austell, and also Llanhydrock golf club. Porthpean beach, popular for water-sports and rock-pooling, is also a 10min walk from the house. Pentewan Sands is a 5min drive from Dolphin Rock and offers both a perfect stretch of sandy beach and also riverside cycle paths and plenty of pubs along the route. If you feel the desire to see the sights of Cornwall, the Eden Project is within a 10min drive as are the Gardens of Heligan. Trewithen Gardens and Caerhays Castle are also within a 20min drive. Fowey with all it's lovely little shops, tea-rooms and restaurants is a mere 10min drive away as is Mevagissey. Padstow and Wadebridge are within a 20min drive and further afield, St Ives and Penzance are an hours drive away. Of course, for the day-to-day needs, St Austell is within walking distance of Dolphin Rock. St Austell offers 2 supermarkets, a new cinema complex, ten-pin bowling and also a modest shopping centre. The Eden Cafe in the centre of St Austell also offers live music events in the evenings.

Directions

From the A30, take the Eden Project turning. Take St Austell directions- after approx 10mins, you will see the St Austell Enterprise park and The Carclaze on your left. Continue on the A390 down the hill- follow this road all the way to the bottom and at the traffic lights, turn right. Follow this road to the second set of traffic lights and then turn left under the bridge. Turn right towards Charlestown. Take this road to the end and turn left into Charlestown. Take the first turning on the right signposted Porthpean. Follow this road all the way up the hill. Bay View Road is the second road on your left- you will see Dolphin Rock on the corner.
